Valentine

the first picture I give you guys is yaoi. Yeah, pretty much.

This is a rather old picture that I chose to put online simply so I could tell you all a little story. this is a story about the series these two are from, Shugo Chara.

Okay, first off this book is amazing. A very surprising magical story that will have you smiling. The art is cute. there is a good plot. and for once, a magical girl isn't a mary sue. The main couple (IkutoxAmu) was even cute enough that I didn't even need to make a yaoi couple. thats what you call good characters.
And when I went online and looked up pictures online, I was so excited. There were all sorts of good pictures of amuto (ikutoxamu for those who don't know). My happiness was short lived however, when I started reading comments made by amuto fans. It was a problem that I actually have with many yaoi fans and is why I don't go commenting on random yaoi pictures for fear of bringing back people I hate.
Many amuto fans hate tadase. and not for any good reason. They hate him cuz he loves amu and he gets in the way of the pairing. This is something I find extremely annoying. If you have a reason to hate a character, that's fine. but don't hate them because of that. It's why I hat sasunarus fans and steer away from them and now naruto in general (thoguh I did leave the fandom cuz it was taking too frickin long). They hate Sakura, simply because she likes Sasuke.
Don't get me wrong, some of the fans are okay. they aren't like that. But it's hard to go into a cute picture and not find a string of conversations that follows this pattern "omg that is so cute! I love amuto! It's so cute and sweet!!! Ikuto's soooo hot! He's so much better than tadase! I hate tadase! He's so annoying! I wish he'd just die!!! Ikuto's so much better!!! He deserves to be with Amu more! Amuto is so great!"

If you have a reason to hate a character, it's fine. Hate them with all your heart. Damn them to hell. Knock yourself out. but don't hate a character because they get in the way of your favorite pairing. it's stupid. And annoying. And it makes you seem like a ignorant, mindless fangirl.

so now I resorted to yaoi-ing the series, just to make it more appealing. Because I'm afraid to make a amuto pic cuz it'd call in all the bitches and I don't want to look for amuto pics cuz i'd have to listen to them.



In short (in the style off the lovely ) : dear amuto fans/ tadase bashers, go jump off a cliff.
